(July 19, 2010) The Nationwide boys raced at Gateway for the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 on Saturday night. You know it was over 100 degress at the track …. It was Hot .. and so was the drama between Keselowski and Edwards .. Im just waitinf for those to to throw down …. Man!
This first thing that went down was kes spinning out at the entrance of pit road .. but the big one was on the final straight-away where Edwards nudged into Keselwoski just enough to spin him out of control which collected a total of 10 cars. Edwards drove the #60 Ford into victory lane!!!
Keselowski finally rolled across the line in 14th, and of course he wasn't happy.....
"I'm sure he'll say how sorry he is, or how cool he thinks he is or how great of a guy he is in his own mind, but that's not reality. I was rubbing on him a little bit. I figured out a way to beat him. He wasn't happy with me, so he wrecked me."

(July 9,2010) The boys are racin under the lights in CHICAGO LAND Saturday night!! All eyes are on 2x defending champ at this track, SMOKE aka Tony Stewart. He has led more laps than any other driver at Chicago.
Other stories leading into race weekend include Jimmie Johnson is on baby watch!! Jeff Gordon is on his 600th race, and JR is in the TOP 12! Will he stay there??
This is the last race on TNT and the last mile and a half before the chase begins!!!

The boys are in Michigan this weekend! This weekend’s race is in the backyard of the Automotive Industry so all will be on their best behavior… or at least they should be!
The pressure is on this weekend for the Crews. This track is all about strategy, technology, and GAS MILEAGE! This track is known for seeing drivers run out of gas within the last laps of the race, so this weekend, I’ll be at the edge of my seat the closer we get to the checkered flag! WATCH VIDEO

Funny story going into this weekend is the brilliant response from DeLana Harvick from last week’s tif between Joey Logano and her husband Kevin Harvick. Logano drove his car right next to Harvick's on pit road following the race, jumped out and tried to get in Harvick’s face, but couldn’t get through Harvick’s posse. Logano later told the media "His wife wears the firesuit in the family and tells him what to do. It's probably not his fault."
Well, DeLana and Kevin apparently are making not only light fun of the situation, Delana is making money!! She is selling t-shirts that say “I WEAR THE FIRESUIT IN THIS FAMILY!” BRILLIANT!!! According to Nascar.com, as of Tuesday, hundreds had been sold and she was having trouble keeping them in stock after the initial allotment went out the door quicker than expected. FULL STORY

(June 7, 2010) What a race! The start was delayed 90 minutes by rain then another 10 minutes or so while officials patched a pothole at the end of pit road. But in the end it was Denny Hamlin in POCONO RACEWAY’s victory lane with his #11 FED EX Toyota!! It was his 4th win of the season! Congrats denny!
But the drama was on pit road after Hamlin crossed the finish line!! His teammate Joey Logano bullied Sprint Cup points leader Kevin Harvick wih his Toyota by pulling up beside the Harvick’s #33 Chevrolet , climbed from his car and the cat fight began! Joey was fuming about Harvick spinning him in Turn 3 on Lap 199. It was the caution that forced the race into overtime and caused Logano a top 5 or even the win!!! Logano finished 13th, Harvick finished 4th.
When the media finally got to Logano, he said
"I don't know what his problem is with me but it's probably not his fault. His wife wears the fire suit in the family and tells him what to do. It's probably not his fault." OH SNAP!!
Harvicks response was more of a brush off..
"So we just wound up getting together. It's unfortunate, but that's the way it goes."
According to Nascar.com, no penalties will be assessed. FULL STORY
The two had a similar incident in the Nationwide Series race at Bristol in March, and Logano admitted he's not sure why Harvick doesn’t like him.
Now, abouthte LAST LAP crash! On the final restart on the last lap _ Kasey Kahne collected about 7 other cars with him in a huge wreck … causing drama between him and Allmendinger. WATCH VIDEO
Martin, the Bif, Martin Truex Jr., Jeff Gordon, Marcos Ambrose, Ryan Newman and Elliott Sadler were also involved in the wreck.
None of the drivers were hurt, but Kane had a few words about Allmendinger:
Kahne blamed Richard Petty Motorsports teammate Allmendinger for forcing him off the race track.
"I don't know what A.J. was doing there," Kahne said. "I don't ever really talk to him much, but you can bet I'll be talking to him this week."
Allmendinger took responsibility for the incident.

KURT BUSCH is tearin’ it up!!! He drove the Penske Racing Blue Deuce into victory lane at Sunday’s Coca Cola 600 at CHARLOTTE!!! He swept both SPRINT CUP RACES at Charlotte for May Speed Weeks becoming only the 7th driver to ever do that! The victory was Busch's second of the season and the 22nd of his career. WATCH VIDEO
Kyle Busch fightin with someone AGAIN …. Shocking, I know…… Jeff Burton confronted Kyle on pit road after the race, and he was not nice about it! GO JEFF! Burton let Busch have it for late contact between their cars, which resulted in a cut left rear tire on Burton's Chevy and turned a promising run into a 25th-place finish. According to Nascar, Jeff had this to say:
"I like racing with Kyle -- I really do. I enjoy it, but when he gets overaggressive and I pay the price for it, I won't tolerate it. I'm just not going to put up with it. “
Rounding out the top 10 for the Coca Cola 600 are Jamie McMurray, Kyle Busch, Mark Martin and David Reutimann. Jeff Gordon, Clint Bowyer, Paul Menard, pole-sitter Ryan Newman and Matt Kenseth .
Kevin Harvick still sits atop the points 29 markers ahead of Kyle Busch. Matt Kenseth, Denny Hamlin, and Jeff Gordon round out the TOP 5 in POINTS.

Meanwhile all the drama from the race came from Kurt’s little brother Kyle Busch! He is the villain of NASCAR, and boy do we love watching him throw his fits! With only 8 laps to go, the #18 of Kyle Busch was blocked by his teammate, #11 Denny Hamlin. Oh the drama that spawned from that! Well, that block caused Kyle to rub the wall, eventually leading to a blow out sending the 18 into the wall and collecting the #9 of Kasey Kahne in a crash that took them both out of contention for the win.
Kyle believed he had the race in the bag, so you know he was not calm on his radio. He went off on Denny Hamlin, warning his team to keep Denny away from him. OH SNAP!!! The weekend race event actually started last night with the 2010 PIT CREW CHALLENGE won by Joe Gibbs’ #11 Team! Here’s what’s so funny about this event, Denny wasn’t steering the #11 Fed Ex Toyota, his girlfriend was while he was cheering on the sidelines! FULL STORY
Also this weekend is the Burnout Competition. A lucky fan gets to ride along with Kevin Harvick .. how cool!!!! The Penzoil Ultra Victory Challenge will broadcast before the All-Star Race on SPEED at 5:15pm. FULL STORY
Then it’s time to GO RACIN’ BOYS!!!! The 2010 All- Star Race will have four segments, concluding with a 10-lap sprint and a $1 million payout to the winner. There's an added twist this year for the final segment: Once the field takes a lap behind the pace car, all cars must enter pit road for a four-tire stop. The order in which the cars exit off pit road is how they will line up for the final 10 laps, which will put the pressure on to the pit crews even more this year!
Here are the segments:
Segment 1
• 50 laps with a mandatory green-flag pit stop on Lap 25
Segment 2
• 20 laps with the caution flag displayed at the end for an optional pit stop.
Segment 3
• 20 laps with a 10-minute break at the end where Teams can make normal adjustments. The finishing order after the third segment determines the field's lineup for the pace lap for
Segment 4

Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson battled hard on the track yesterday for the Autism Speaks 400 at Dover!! I was jumping up and down screaming at the TV watching these two pull slide jobs on each other as they raced the Monster Mile! But in the end it was Kyle Busch who drove his #18 M&M’s Toyota into Victory Circle. Sweeping the Nationwide and the Sprint Cup races this weekend. WATCH VIDEO

(May 14, 2010) The boys are at the Monster Mile this weekend!!! YES!! Dover International Speedway is 1 mile of aggressive, high-banked, bumpy racin’!! The wide corners and narrow straights are a great recipe for some possibly AWESOME CRASHES!!
Qualifying will be very important to the outcome of the race because the Monster Mile is definitely a track where position and pit stall selection is a major factor. Being up in front of the pack is the key at Dover. Watch the NASCAR Preview Show HERE
If you are a Brian Vickers fan, he will not be racin’ this weekend. He was hospitalized this week due to an “undisclosed diagnosed condition.” Casey Mears will be piloting the #83 Toyota for the Red Bull Racing Team. FULL STORY

(April 26, 2010) The big story line coming out of the Dega race weekend is the on-again / off-again battle between teammates Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon. Going into the race weekend they announced how they kissed and made up after the on track tif at TMS last weekend, well, that all changed! With only 5 laps to go at Dega, Johnson cut off Gordon causing the 24 car to fall back and then almost immediately afterwards, Gordon got into a wreck with the #31 of Jeff Burton. FULL STORY
The good news is Gordon finished the race but he made it very clear to us in the post race interviews that he has “lost his patience” with Johnson. WATCH VIDEO
Meanwhile, a fresh-faced JR is saying that it’s all media hype and the boys are getting along just fine.

Daytona International Speedway is getting repaved! Yup! They announced it a Talladega this weekend. The work starts after the 4th of July Race weekend, where JR will be driving a No. 3 Chevrolet in the Nationwide Series race !! I read on MOTORSPORTS FANHOUSE that JR Motorsports will unveil No. 3 car at Daytona on July 2nd and the rumor is it will be sponsored by Wrangler. Wrangler was on Dale Earnhardt's No. 2 car for the last race of his first championship year in 1980, and then on the No. 3 RCR Chevy for the last 11 races of 1981. COOL! FULL STORY
Huge news from Penske racing!! Brad Keselowski will be driving the “blue duece” in 2011 – yes the #2 Miller Lite Dodge – so where is Kurt Busch going? (April 23rd, 2010) Talladega’s Aaron’s 499 is this Sunday! We all know the MAJOR IMPORTANCE of the race at THE WORLD’S FASTEST TRACK!! It was this time one year ago that Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski met on the last lap for the infamous airborne crash that sent Edwards into the catch fence. Keselowski crossed the finish line and drove into Victory Circle while Edwards ended up jogging to the finish! WATCH VIDEO
This moment in Dega history was the cherry on the sundae that led to the death of the wing and the birth of the SPOILER. This, again, is one of the headlines going into the race weekend. (4/20/2010) Ok, was it worth the wait or what?!?! What a nail biter this race was! The Samsung 500 at TMS is what I call RACIN' BOYS!! YEE HAW!!
Let's start with Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon shall we? Jeff Gordon's camp , said hey you know what, we are goin to give the fans a race and do what we need to get to Victory Circle no matter who we end up rubbin, teammate or not - and they weren't lying!
Jimmie Johnson is a 4x champ with 4 victories already this season, his teammate and car owner Jeff Gordon, hasn’t won in 37 races. Could that be some of the fuel adding to the fire under Gordon’s derriere to WIN? The 2 Hendrick Boys battled 4 second yesterday on lap 241, rubbin is racin! They traded paint and even some words over the radio - atleast Gordon did with his Criew Chief, Latarte. Listen here. The collision caused Johnson to pit on lap 272 with a flat left front tire, making him a lap down. The good news is , they are over it. That’s the beauty if their relationship, they can battle it out on th4e track, and talk it out when its over without any special meetings int eh NASCAR trailers and drama in the media for days on end. Ok, let's move on to THE BIG ONE!! OK y'all, it happened with 17 laps to go, that's when I actuallystarted throwing a temper tantrum, screaming at the TV, fist fighting the air, and then just completely hit the floor crying in defeat. Jeff Gordon lead a race high 126 laps, he had a fast car, and was just makin his fans proud, when a bad pit stop lost him the lead, putting him in the top ten out of the pits for a restart with 18 laps to go. A lap into the restart, Gordon made contact with pole sitter Tony Stewart and next thing you know it was over for Gordon and 8 others including Stewart.. Tony Stewart took complete 100% blame for the wreck ... that' a humble man - saying when he was trying to recover from the hit from Gordon, he got hit from behind by #99 of Carl Edwards, got loose and lost control in some debris on the highside of the track. After a 20:28 minute RED FLAG, the race resumed with more on the edge of your seat racin!! Denny Hamlin and Jimmmii Johnson had a last lap duel that had fans on there feet!! But in the end, it was Denny Hamlin and his #11 Fed Ex Toyota that drove into Victory Circle for his second win of the season and 10th of his career. WATCH VIDEO.

(April 19th 2010) Well, if you are a race freak like me, and spend your weekend mornings catching up on all things NASCAR, you pretty much knew Saturday morning that the races were not going to happen over the weekend. With 70% chance of showers over TMS all weekend, and a big "green blob" over all the weather radar maps, my weekend began to crumble like a stale cookie. Then you have to start figuring out what your gonna do now!!
But race fans, the boys are racing today! Sprint at 11a.m. and Nationwide following, approximately around 4p.m. If you have tix for either race, TMS officials are saying its 2 for 1 day! They say they feel for the fans who had to wait out the rain, so tickets will get you into either race today.
Today's forecast calls for cloudy skies with a hih of 66, only a 20% chance of showers. So, will the boys have their set ups ready for today's race? We'll see when the green flag drops. I believe 15 drivers are pulling a double duty today. I'm assuming, Denny Hamlin won't make both races today with his knee, Casey Mears will be standing by to take over the wheel if not. So, I found out during all the interviewing yesterday due to rain, Kyle Bush got engaged to his gal, the SPEED cameras really had nothing else to do but sneak up on her in the RV doing a ZUMBA workout. Carl Edwards has teh most wins at TMS, it would be nice to see him in Victory Cirlce today, wouldn't it? I mean, with all the drama he just went through with Keselowski, the same week his baby was birn??! WOW! He deserves a good race! As for the rest of them, it'll be interesting to see how they race tonight. Mark Martin adn jimmi Johnson seem very excited about the Kasey Kahne "rumors" going around about him joining the Hendrick Boys in 2012. Ok, now I am just rambling on ..... Read more HERE
Theee one and only Tony Stewart will be on the pole today for the 500 , Mr Joey Logano will have the honors for the 300. This will be Tony's 400th career start and 1st pole in 155 races!!! - AWESOME SMOKE! You know my pick for the weekend is Jeff Gordon.

(April 16th 2010) THE BOYS ARE IN TEXAS THIS WEEKEND Y'ALL!!!! The Samsung 500 in this Sunday! Get ready for a FAST and WIDE race - TMS is one of theeee fastest track in the circuit! It's a 1.5 mile track with high 24 degree banking. Michael Waltrip says being in the driver's seat during qualifying, you can go about 210 mph in the corners, He says it is like being SUPERMAN! The big story going into this race weekend is the new spoiler. This is the first time the boys will be racin at TMS with the spoiler, so that's going to make a big difference. What to look for is more side by side and drafting - yee haw! The drivers and crew chiefs really don't know what to expect this weekend with the new spoiler until qualifying today, and even then , they won't really knwo until the boys are actually in traffic during the race. Jeff actually win his FIRST VICTORY at TMS at the Samsung 500 2009! It was his 17th career apparance at TMS. Back in march Jeff was inducted into the Txase Motorsports Hall of Fame.
Tony Stewart will commemorate his 400th start at a track -- Texas Motor Speedway -- where he enjoyed one of his more dominant victories. Through the first 399 starts of his Cup Series career, Stewart has 37 victories. But his win at Texas in November 2006 arguably was his most impressive, as he led 278 of 339 laps. Read more HERE

Joining the Hendricks Boys in 2012
(April 14 2010) Kasey Kahne is leaving the #9 car and Richard Petty Motorsports next season. Where is he going in 2011? That remains a mystery, but I've heard reports that have Kahne linked to Stewart-Haas Racing, which has a technical alliance with Hendrick Motorsports. According to NASCAR's website, the plan is for Kahne to drive the #5 Hendrick's Chevy for the 2012 through to the 2015 season. FULL STORY

Phoenix is a 1 mile track, it's one of Tony Stewart's faves. Smoke says even though it's a mile, it stillr aces like a short track because of its slick surface. Track position is going to play a major role in the last 50 laps. Watch NASCAR's RACE PREVIEW.
Story lines for the race weekend include:
Denny Hamlin coming out of knee surgery. His recovery is coming along great, and he really wants to finish the race, however, it doesn't look like he will, according to some of the reports I read. If his left knee begins to bother him, Casey Mears will take over.
The team to watch is Roush Racing. They have done most of their testing at Phoenix, so expectations are somewhat high for these guys concerning improving and turning their year around. Meanwhile, When the green flag drops on Saturday night, Carl Edwards will become the 5th driver to start 200 Cup Series for Jack Roush. Congrats Carl!
The team with a target on their backs is THE HENDRICK BOYS!! Points leader Jimmie Johnson has 7 consecutive TOP 5's @ Phoenix including winning 4 out of the 5 last races there. Who was the man to beat him, defending race champ Mr. Mark Martin:

(April 5, 2010) Kevin Harvick drove his #33 Armour Meats Chevy to Victory Lane Saturday for the Nationwide Series' Nashville 300! The big story is Harvick's 2 tire strategy that drove him across the finish line .1999 seconds before 2nd place finisher Reed Sorenson. Joey Logano led 122 of the 250 laps, making it look like he was going to take the #20 Gamestop Toyota to the winners circle. He lost the lead when he didn't pit during the final caution causing him to have to pit during a green flag making him a lap down at the finish. Rounding out the TOP 5 are Kyle Bush, Justin Algier, and Brad Keselowski. Get full results and standings here.

Funny story going into this weekend is the brilliant response from DeLana Harvick from last week’s tif between Joey Logano and her husband Kevin Harvick. Logano drove his car right next to Harvick's on pit road following the race, jumped out and tried to get in Harvick’s face, but couldn’t get through Harvick’s posse. Logano later told the media "His wife wears the firesuit in the family and tells him what to do. It's probably not his fault."
Well, DeLana and Kevin apparently are making not only light fun of the situation, Delana is making money!! She is selling t-shirts that say “I WEAR THE FIRESUIT IN THIS FAMILY!” BRILLIANT!!! According to Nascar.com, as of Tuesday, hundreds had been sold and she was having trouble keeping them in stock after the initial allotment went out the door quicker than expected. FULL STORY
